National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an organization that recognizes middle school students who excel in five areas:  scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship.  

The NJHS was established in 1929 to recognize academic achievement and develop other characteristics that are important for citizens in a democracy. The organization's goals include: Encouraging a desire to serve, Promoting leadership, Developing character, and Encouraging good citizenship.

The McClure NJHS is for current 8th graders only.
